This year we’ve branched out a bit (ok, a lot) from strictly Wedding Photos and are now offering Senior Sessions as well. So, consider today’s post a little bit of a treat as we kick off our 2012 class of students.

However, I didn’t always have this warm place in my heart for senior portraits, probably because of what mine looked like and felt like.

Rachael and Sean love to laugh, and their love together is one that has been worth the wait for this awesome couple.

So if you haven’t heard of Mile High Bride yet, you really need to go over there and check out this cute site full of great stories, details, wedding and engagement ideas, and anything else related to Colorado weddings.

I was so excited that they featured Haley and Daniel’s engagement shoot in Sterling, Colorado on their blog because quite frankly, the Eastern Plains are usually overlooked by the mountains and metro areas by many people.

Well blog, I know I’ve been neglecting you lately, but I’m about to seriously make up for that neglect with the next few weeks of postings.

Today’s post features Haley and Daniel’s wedding in Sterling, Colorado. Haley and Daniel met while working at an old fashioned diner (J & L Cafe) and quickly knew a deep connection was being formed in their friendship. They started dating, and soon engaged. They are the kindest, most genuine people around, and are an absolute blast to photograph as can be seen by their engagement session HERE which was also featured on Mile High Bride. They are the perfect couple for us, laid back, easy going, and willing to do anything for a good picture.

Sterling is a gold mine for photography spots if you’re willing to go out and find them. Haley wanted to bring a little bit of an edge to her photos, so we went to some old abandoned factories to get her photo shoot going, then headed to Overland Trail to finish up with some more traditional scenery.

I was so happy they decided to do a first look, not only because it allowed for so much opportunity for incredible pictures, but you can just feel the intimate moments they experienced as they knew they were going to marry in just a few hours.

Daniel and Haley, thank you for being the perfect couple.
