I’ve been looking forward to this shoot for a long time, but it came a lot quicker than I anticipated. I’ve known Kaleigh since she was about 10 years old. We both were in the same 4-H Club (yes, I grew up in the sticks and loved it). We both went to the same University, and she mentioned she was getting married in August. I was so, so excited when she wanted us to photograph her wedding, which is in Nipomo, CA. But since their engagement shoot was in Sterling, CO, here’s how that came about.

I was working up in Sterling this week and got a call from Kaleigh saying that she was moving her fiance into his new place for his summer internship and they were only 2 hours away! We just had to take some pictures with them so close.

I knew that when I sat down with Steph and Scott at the Starbucks off Colfax they would be so awesome! Honestly, this couple rocks and are the kindest, most genuine couple as well…exactly the type of couple I love working with.
